The landscape of Darbhanga is an epitome of regional heritage with tangible and intangible heritage at the heart of it. There are palaces, forts, medieval temples with associated artisans filling the cultural land with pottery and other local craftsmanship. Darbhanga Heritage Rejuvenation Plans is planned to optimize the potential of the city and harness its heritage cultural resources into planning and making it relevant and part of the socio-economic area of the place. The methodology is streamlined into sub phases of planning urban heritage and later making it a pivotal part of Bihar Heritage Landscape.
