Maharajadhiraj Kameshwar Singh Kalyani Foundation is a mine of gems when it comes to witnessing history of Darbhanga and Bihar. They have a rich collection of archival artefacts that range from paper manuscripts to palm leaf manuscripts that are both written and illustrated. Additionally they have photographs that beautifully document the lives of the royal family of Darbhanga and record the gifts and acquisitions from the Britishers. More so, their library is stocked with books that will take you across the history of India. RATH had the opportunity to provide condition assessment of the archival artefacts and photographs and prepare an estimate for their conservation treatment.
